Currently, mantech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented nutanix resident consultant to join our team in colorado springs, co (peterson afb )The contractor is onsite, monday through friday.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as a support liaison between the customer and nutanix on any technical issues and contract and licensing questions.
Coordinate and communicate with your assigned nutanix account team on a regular basis in regard to your customer’s needs.
Provide enterprise server and storage engineering and support in strict coordination with the customer.
Conduct operations and maintenance of hypervisors, virtual machines, centralized management platforms and hyperconverged infrastructure.
Experience with various virtual desktop infrastructure (vdi) environments.
Provide well-thought-out recommendations on complex or ambiguous it architecture issues.
Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
Research latest software releases and bug fixes in relationship to the customers install base and provide recommendations in line with nutanix best practices.
Act as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for junior staff.
Basic qualifications:
Must have: strong nutanix aos & ahv , vmware esxi and horizon view (vdi)
Senior resource: 7+ years consulting experience
Highly experienced with windows group policy, active directory and multi-site horizon view environments
Scripting (powershell, bash, powercli – ability to look at existing scripts and modify as needed)
Security clearance requirements:
Top secret w/sci eligible
Preferred qualifications:
Within driving distance of colorado springs, co (peterson afb ) the contractor is required to be onsite monday through friday
Physical requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentationsMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,700-$184,500There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education and certifications as well as federal government contract labor categoriesIn addition, mantech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensationMantech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, short term and long term disability, retirement and savings, learning and development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
