Full job description
Boutique plaintiffs’ law firm looking for a dedicated and hardworking associate attorney with two to five years of class action experienceDuties of the associate attorney will include legal research and writing; drafting complaints and motions; drafting written discovery and responses; and providing support to firm partnersThe ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be proficient in legal research tools such as westlaw and pacer.
The firm has locations in washington, d.cAnd chicago ilThe position is remote, though some travel may be required for meetings, hearings, depositions, and/or other activitiesVirtual attendance at meetings in the eastern time zone may also be requiredWe are looking for someone seeking a full-time position with potential for advancement.

Responsibilities
Legal research and drafting of memoranda
Drafting complaints
Drafting motions and oppositions
Conduct client interviews
Draft discovery and responses
Liaise with paralegals to handle requests and queries from partners and attorneys
Skills
J.dRequired
Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you will be working
2-5 years of class action experience
Proficiency in legal research tools such as westlaw and pacer and/or docketbird
Proficiency in ms office (word and excel), teams, and adobe
Thorough follow through and initiative
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
