Description:
20 hours a week, but could potentially use more depending on the person`s skill set and our project load.
We are looking for a technical workday resource that can support payroll, absence, time & attendance.This position will work closely with payroll, hris, hr business partners, and it to implement workday payroll updates and enhancements.
Assist with troubleshooting payroll, absence, and time & attendance production issues.
Full understanding of business process design and configuration for us and canadian payroll
Assist with the creation of earnings codes, deduction codes, gl setup, payroll configuration.
Create advanced payroll reports/dashboards
Perform system regression testing for payroll workday updates to ensure business processes are functioning as expected
Qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in hr, business, information technology or other related field required
4+ years of workday payroll, absence, tim & attendance experience required
Proficient in workday report writer, calculated fields and dashboards preferred
Broad experience with hr technologies, systems, and reporting
6+ years of experience in hris position supporting payroll preferred
Proficient with microsoft products (word, excel, powerpoint)
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
Detailed orientated, focus on data accuracy and system integrity
Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive data
Functional payroll knowledge is required
Review configuration and work with the team on best practice business process review.
