Location: boston, ma or remotely from east coast
Reports to: chief legal officer
What you’ll be doing:
Draft and negotiate a wide range of contractual arrangements, including (i) customer and vendor agreements, (ii) baas and data use agreements, and (iii) non-disclosure agreements
Help us continually improve the efficiency and scalability of our contract processes
Advise on current and potential legal and commercial issues with industry specific knowledge and transactional guidance
Work with stakeholders on data privacy and security, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and contractual commitments
Assist with other legal matters as required based on the needs of the company
What your experience looks like:
J.d., from an accredited law school
Bachelor`s degree
At least 5 years’ experience as an attorney
Substantive knowledge of commercial legal matters, enterprise software licensing and distribution models, privacy, and data protection laws
Experience with innovative engagements,
Experience with saas industries preferred.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and willingness to develop new skills and expertise
Self-motivated
