This is a remote position based in the greater chicago area.
Travel to our crestwood, il location is required 1-2x per month in addition to overnight travel to tradeshows/industry conference several times per year.
Role description:
The marketing generalist will collaborate with the business development director on marketing strategy and is responsible for planning, creating, and sharing valuable content across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
Manage and implement online and email marketing initiatives.
Design, develop, and distribute content marketing deliverables.
Plan and execute social media initiatives.
Monitor online marketing and social media trends and best practices.
Create and manage graphics and illustrative copy.
Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviors.
Perform support duties including but not limited to: database management, reporting and analytics, maintaining marketing materials, tradeshow support, managing sales and marketing software tools
Develop and deploy marketing automation strategies.
Assist with the coordination of business development events including but not limited to tradeshows, conferences and webinars.
Collaborate with team on effective marketing strategies.
Leads by example exhibiting the core values each day, adheres to mmp behavior standard
Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy
Attends required company meetings
Completes all required courses in adherence with prs compliance system
Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or similar.
At least 1 year professional experience in a marketing generalist or similar role
Motivated team member with the ability to self-direct
Demonstrate strong writing skills and design skills.
Proficient with ms excel, word, powerpoint, outlook, and adobe
Experience with microsoft dynamics crm, click dimensions and click dimensions social is desirable
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence others.
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Able to multi-task and work under deadlines
