Job summary:
The web application developer is responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining an array of web-based products using php, sql, mysql, ajax, and javascriptThis position will troubleshoot and solve software issues, research technical problems and suggest improvements for web applications and websitesThe responsibility of front-end and back-end development is included in this position.
Roles & responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and enhance existing mobile and web applications and websites
Participate in the planning of technical architecture
Create unit, integration and end-to-end tests
Provide solutions to improve the code quality and the development process
Work closely with development team and other departmental leadership to develop high quality, functional products
Debug programs by testing for and fixing errors
Coordinate with team members to create queries and stored procedures
Work closely with management and visual designers to implement the best user experiences
Provide technical assistance to testers by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs
Conduct end-user training upon completion of applications
Write code that follows best practices and standards while maintaining a component/reusability mentality regarding accessibility, performance, security and efficiency
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, ensuring high-performing and high-quality services
Ensure applications meet industry regulations and standards
Maintain compliance with hipaa and other security requirements
Assists in special projects, as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Required skills:
Associate degree or higher in it related field or equivalent professional experience
2+ years laravel experience
1 – 2 years experience with nosql databases a plus (elasticsearch, redis, mongodb)
Experience with html, php, javascript, and css is required
Firm understanding of testing and debugging concepts
Strong analytical and programming skills
Exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills, excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and impart change across functional and business boundaries
