Neuroscience portfolio
The neuroscience portfolio group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the neurological care continuum including integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
A day in the life
Work in a team of software engineers to design, develop, and verify software products in an agile environment.
Develop code that meets or exceeds coding best practices and complies with the overall service architecture with a focus on enabling secure, scalable, and maintainable software.
Demonstrate ownership of software features and drive development of the features through sdlc.
Meet all project milestones and deliverables, as required by the project leadership.
Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures and results).
Provide concise, timely, and accurate reports and status of all test activities.
Participate in continuous process improvement activities.
Apply best practice techniques to meet all regulatory compliance requirements.
Keep abreast of technical and industry trends related to software design and development
Must have: bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of experience or advanced degree with 0+ years of experience.
Nice to have:
Experience with either mobile or web-based application development
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: java, kotlin, swift, javascript, html, css
Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: java, kotlin, swift, javascript, html, css
Experience with layered architecture, mvc, design patterns
Experience with configuration management tools and best practices (github, gitlab, gsvn, etc.).
Understanding of continuous integration environments (jenkins, bamboo, electriccloud)
Understanding of basic agile tools (rally, versionone, jira)
Knowledge of wireless network technologies.
Good understanding of rest based web services
Understanding of multitenant/multi- user paradigm
Experience working within a regulated environment.
Participation in and understanding of agile software development
