Description:
The production manager for mortgage services is responsible for assuring that all loan documents are filled accurately, completely, and that all loan applications are compliant with regulatory and statutory guidelinesThey act as a resource to their teams, coordinating work flow and mitigating problems and questions that arise from clients and team members.
Responsibilities
Acts as liaison between internal teams and clients
Coordinates and communicates with clients to assure proper documentation and acquire missing forms
Perform qc audits as work is completed by auditors to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness acceptable to metasource’s established audit standards to include:
Validate all auditor findings and verify that all proper documents are attached to loan application
Oversees all operations follow trid, tila, respa compliance regulations
Verify income and asset calculations, as needed
Facilitate team meetings, trainings, and one-on-ones to review and notify of processes and procedures and ensure performance
Engages in the acquisition and onboarding of new talent including screening applicants, conducting interviews, and orientation of new hires
Delegates work effectively to meet team goals and resource allocation requirements
Communicates with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
Requirements:
Over 6 years of mortgage underwriting or mortgage operations experience or any combination of education and experience
Knowledge of mortgage industry compliance guidelines including fha, va, usda, fnma, and fhlmc agency guidelines
Advanced knowledge of regulatory and trid compliance
Advanced knowledge of mortgage documents and vocabulary
Experience with microsoft office suite including word, excel, outlook, and powerpoint
Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondences
Preferred qualifications
Hecm and heloc experience desired
