Fortify is at the cutting edge of micro focus’s security portfolio, and we are looking for a product manager to join our teamIn this position, you will drive the product development for fortify software security center (ssc), our suite of centralized tools empowering organizations to discover and resolve security vulnerabilities across their software portfolio.
What you will do as the ssc product manager:
Define requirements, create features/user stories and manage product backlog and roadmap in close partnership with fortify product management, engineering, designers and research teams
Evangelize fortify with key customers, be their voice and make tough choices on roadmap priorities
Drive customer success by working closely with escalation, support and sales engineers to solve customer pain points
Create engaging content (videos, demos, etc.) that highlights new product features and capabilities
Understand trends in the application security, devsecops and modern software development markets and recommend product enhancements
Wake up every morning and ask yourself, `what can we do today that changes the game?`
Ability to travel ***post-covid, not extensively***
You could be a great fit if you have:
5+ years of relevant experience in product management, support, or customer-facing role(s) dealing with application security testing or other software security products
Strong communication and presentation skills
A great team player who can fit with our culture and drive product success, while keeping all the stakeholders on the same page
Experience with fortify ssc a big plus
Experience in software development with intimate knowledge of modern ci/cd and automation a plus
Experience with modern software development processes, tooling, architectures, languages and technologies (cloud native, containers, microservices, infrastructure-as-code, serverless functions, etc.) a plus
Education required:
Bachelor`s or master`s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or business
