Midstone is a multi-service company specializing in senior living facilitiesIt is our goal to provide impeccable service for any large or small projectWe are on the search for reliable, clean and dedicated facility maintenance technician/ handy man to preform a wide range of maintenance dutiesMidstone is quickly growing and there is large potential for growth within the companyThis position includes a company vehicle and competitive incentivesApplicant must be able to pass a monthly drug testThis position will service the los angeles county area.
Duties and responsibilities:
Many various tasks including painting and patching.
Carpentry work.
Perform electrical repairs in community areas.
Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
Minor plumbing.
Install and replace floors, stairs and framing as needed.
Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building including dry wall repair.
Masonry repairs.
Minor hvac repairs.
Welding experience a plus.
Skills and qualifications:
Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.
Experience installing and replacing basic plumbing systems.
Experience installing and replacing basic electrical.
Experience with minor masonry repairs.
Experience with finish painting and drywall.
Stucco repair knowledge is a plus.
Overall facility maintenance knowledge.
Ability to lift and carry at least 90 lbs.
Strong communication skills with property management and tenants.
Self-starter with good time management skills.
Work well with other team mates.
