Milan institute of cosmetology – las vegas, nv campus is seeking nail technician instructors to mentor, teach and motivate our studentsIf you are ready to share your knowledge and skills in the nail technician industry with our students, please apply immediately as we are currently offering a $2,000 signing bonus.
Job responsibilities
Teaching, mentoring, motivating, and coaching students on the clinic floor and in the classroom, using company-approved curriculum.
Preparing students to pass the state board exam and ensuring compliance with state board rules.
Participate in various administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
Job requirements and qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current nail technician license per state requirement; however, candidates with a cosmetology or aesthetician license with a specialty in nail technician will be considered
Current instructor license per state requriement
Minimum of 3-5 years nail technician experience
Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
Computer skills necessary
Hours and availability: day and evening positions, including a partial work-from-home/remote schedule
