Position summary:
We are looking for a talented technical leader to help us build a web application and api as part of a collaborative team of engineers and designers focused on improving the mindful care provider and patient experience.
This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and real-world experience distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogsMost importantly, you will be integral to helping us build better products that people love to use.
Position responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and concept of a product
Take lead of scrum teams, defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project
Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or roi
Keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trends
Partner with passionate mental health professionals to facilitate the development of tools that make providers more productive, and improve the patient experience
Work daily to build a dynamic, efficient, and beautiful provider and patient experience that meets hipaa compliance.
Deliver impactful solutions at scale.
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product
Qualifications:
3+ years` experience in product development
In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
Understanding of business value around feature/functions
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
Proficiency with applicable work management technology and tools (e.g., jira)
2+ years’ software development experience
Experience with functional programming paradigms and the elixir programming language
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., hipaa, hitech)
