Overview
The position is part of a team that collaborates with client project teams in the development of workflow automation capabilitiesThis person is responsible for testing vnf instantiation and configuration workflow automation tools.
You will collaborate with project teams in the development of new software features that provide significant new functionality, provide new frameworks for creation of multiple new services, and deliver new services.
You will also participate, when necessary, in the development activities as they relate to quality assurance, for developing and executing test cases, and deployment, including lab support and software deployment
Responsibilities:
Here is what you will do to support the automation management platform and quality assurance.
Participate in testing discussions/scrum meetings.
Participate in developing test cases that verify that all project requirements are met.
Documenting step by step procedure for carrying out test cases.
Executing, completing and documenting all assigned test cases during a (agile) testing sprint
Creating tickets for issues discovered during testing, as well as updating and closing tickets.
Collaborating with the development team on issues discovered during testing.
Supporting production users of our tools on issues discovered in productionAnalyzing the issue and creating tickets against the appropriate team (e.g., development, device teams, ecomp teams).
Location:
The client’s teams are predominately based in redmond wa or middletown njCandidates will be expected to be in these time zone working hoursTo support remote work, personnel will need to have access to a suitable working environment free from interruptions, with robust internet connectivity.
Required qualifications:
4+ years of experience in testing.
2+ years of experience testing in a linux and/or solaris-based environment.
3+ years of experience in writing test cases.
Self-driven, teamwork oriented, and good communication skills.
Experience with agile development/testing process.
Experience with netconf/yang is a plus.
Experience with openstack and vmware is a plus.
Experience with creating test ticketsIn particular, experience with the itrack ticketing system is a plus.
Experience with testing workflow enginesIn particular, experience with itential workflow engine is a plus.
Preferred skills:
Experience with cisco nso is a plus
Experience with mongodb is a plus
Understanding/experience with json is a plus
Experience with test automation tools is a plus
Understanding and experience with mobility network elements is a plus.
Understanding and experience with onap and ecomp is a plus.
