Ui integration tester
Job description:
Overview: we are looking for an experienced ui integration tester to join an existing miw team providing pre-production engineering and validation services to one of america’s largest mobile network operators.
You will collaborate with project teams in the development of new software features that provide significant new functionality, provide new frameworks for creation of multiple new services, and deliver new services.
You will also participate, when necessary, in the development activities as they relate to quality assurance, for developing and executing test cases, and deployment, including lab support and software deployment
Responsibilities: here is what you will do to support the automation management platform and quality assurance.
Conduct ui and api integration testing across network elements using automation framework.
Direct involvement on rest api integrations, troubleshooting and driving integration testing.
Responsibilities include assist in validating the mops for network configurations.
Lead cross-functional discussions with other teams and domain stakeholders.
Perform systematic analysis of trouble tickets, recommendations for design improvements and other corrective actions.
Document internal rapid lab processes and suggested external process and continuously improving upon them.
Responsible for acceptance, integration, performance, and automation testing of amp, nso, pronghorn platform.
Work with unix/linux operating systems.
Work with vm ware and open stack.
Provide document solution architecture support services to product realization and product marketing teams.
Assist with qa testing and qa documentation for our network configuration tools.
Ownership of test plan documentation, which includes:
Review, document, and execute test cases
Executing test cases, scoring, reporting when new code is delivered
Database analysis using sql, provide detailed report according to analysis result, collection log files.
Report testing result according to telecom kpis in tracking system such as jira.
Work closely with scrum team, lead cross-functional discussions with other teams, domain stakeholders for helping run testcases and solve all the technical issues.
Location: the client’s teams are predominately based in redmond wa or middletown njCandidates will be expected to be in these time zone working hoursTo support remote work, personnel will need to have access to a suitable working environment free from interruptions, with robust internet connectivity.
Job requirements: required qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in ui testing with bachelor’s degree.
Expertise in ms office and test management tool (e.g., jira).
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to details.
Linux/unix familiarity.
Working knowledge of rest api and postman is also an advantage.
Preferred skills:
Experience of ci/cd is a plus.
Experience in releases and deployments.
Knowledge of vmware and openstack.
