Full job description
Essential duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned:
Advises client on security, builds, deployments, and optimal environment setup, utilizing continuous integration (ci)/continuous deployment (cd) strategies
Monitors and diagnoses infrastructure issues
Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.gMicrosoft azure)
Provide client recommendations and configuration best practices for microsoft azure and azure devops
Configure and implement azure devops workflows using azure boards, azure pipelines, azure repos, azure artifacts and azure test plans.
Implement ci/cd pipeline by managing quality and security policies/gates, designing a release strategy, setup up release management workflow, and implementing and appropriate deployment pattern using azure devops.
Support design of automated test scripts to be implemented as part of the ci/cd process.
Collaborate with the development team and recommend microsoft azure services to meet project needs
Participate in appropriate meetings, workshops, and technical assessments
Provide technical guidance and support for incident management and problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensures all environments, applications, and deployment comply with client’s security, configuration management policies.
Education / experience:
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or related discipline preferred but not required
Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in designing, in configuring and maintaining cloud-based environments; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum two years’ experience providing microsoft azure and azure devops administrator support.
Technical skills / experience:
Windows server system admin experience
Deep experience using git-based version control systems.
Azure group policy administration, system security and ad integration
Microsoft azure sql database and azure blob storage experience is a plus
Experience with powershell scripting
Scripting and automating procedures utilizing powershell and python
Experience supporting web and applications servers: iis / apache / tomcat
Additional desired skills (preferred but not required) / requirements:
Experience in system design, implementation and maintenance providing architecture design, implementation, and support.
Hands on experience azure integration services (e.gLogic apps, function apps, service bus, event hub, azure search, azure blob storage).
