Neogen is looking for a territory sales manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients within the dietary supplement industry covering the eastern half of the u.s .
The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotasThey will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
Our package includes an excellent base salary plus monthly bonus potentialThis position has an established customer base with high growth potential.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Independently manage and grow business within a set geography
Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
Preparing responses to rfp (request for proposals) and rfi (request for information)
Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Experience selling capital equipment
Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
Strong organizational skills
Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
Microsoft office proficiency required, especially in excel, powerpoint, and outlook.
Experience working with a crm tool required.
Education and/or experience : four-year college degree (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
Travel: 50-75%
