About the role
We are looking to hire a behavioral science/psychology & data-based copywriter, to help take our business to the next levelWe send over 200,000 emails a day at newtonx, and we are looking for someone to work with a data analyst to be able to draw new insights, recommend improvements and overall drive a higher reply rateThis is a great opportunity for someone that loves to try things out, come up with creative copy and also learn from a huge amount of data that will enhance their skills even furtherOn top of the email work, you will also work with the product design team, to help iterate through versions of our new products, and enhance existing products at newtonx.
Responsibilities
Own all outbound email copy to our expanding professional network
Research and test email trends
Write original copy and improve existing content
Work with the data analyst to produce best practices and learnings on a monthly basis
Work with product designer / ux design on mockups for new features and products
Required
Bachelor of science / master science in english, behavioral science, behavioral psychology, industrial & organizational psychology, journalism or similar field
2+ years of copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
Exceptional writing and research skills
Ability to work independently and within a small, concentrated team within a startup
Have developed a-b email marketing campaigns
Bonus skills
Data science or database experience
Cold emailing experience
Proofreading experience and working within style guides
Understanding of market research

A solid copywriter who thinks through aspects both from testing and also from a human-psychology perspective
Someone that enjoys finding nudges/small changes that drive differences in the actions of our users
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Bias for action, results and able to work iteratively
Motivated, proactive and organized individual
