About the role:
As part of our strong year-on-year growth trajectory, we are looking for an agile, motivated, results-focused individual to join our people & talent team to drive our hiring plans and accelerate our growthThis role will work closely with the head of people and as part of a growing team to help shape the recruiting strategy, partner with newtonx technology and product leaders to drive recruiting and hire top talent that fit our community-focused and high-performance cultureYou’ll help to own and improve tech recruiting processes, identify creative sourcing strategies, through to offering and closing candidates, and promote the newtonx culture internally and externally.
In this role you will:
Help shape and execute the recruiting strategy aligned with newtonx strategic objectives
Actively and passively source, screen and manage candidates (tech & product mgmt) throughout the hiring process (from initial contact, offer acceptance, to onboarding preparation)
Advise recruiting leads/hiring managers on identifying, screening, interviewing, selecting candidates and extending offers
Assess, tailor, and implement best practice, streamlined, automated recruiting processes
Manage and centralize recruiting (where appropriate) through our ats, and maintain data integrity between other people & talent systems
Assess and implement best practice, streamlined recruiting processes, tools, reporting and metrics to enable us to continue scaling
Stay abreast of and share perspectives on market trends and industry best practices
Provide a stellar candidate experience and enhance our newtonx brand
Who you are:
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment as part of an in-house recruiting team or search firm.
3+ years of end-to-end technical recruiting experience screening candidates for both skills, experience, and cultural fit
Experienced in hiring technology/engineering & product management talent across the full tech stack
Highly organized and process-driven
Bias for action, results oriented, and track record of hiring success
Scrappy, creative problem-solver in sourcing and attracting candidates
Not afraid to re-evaluate and improve legacy processes or ineffective methods
Self-driven, embodies ownership, passionate, and energetic
Understands the effort required to change an established industry, grow and scale a company
