Overview: appointment type: full-time regular
Purpose:
To perform software testing and quality assurance to provide the means and also the measures for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solutionResponsibilities: essential job functions:
Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance and user-acceptance testing.
Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects and work with development team and business to troubleshoot issues.
Partner with business analysts and project managers to ensure requirements are documented, understood, covered by tests and accurately tested.
Troubleshoot and resolve client issues with deployed systems.
Other related duties as assigned, such as client support, documentation development, and other miscellaneous works assignments.
Qualifications: job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, scientific, technical, education or related field and 2 to 4 years of job related experienceAn equivalent combination of education and experience performing duties as described may be substituted for the minimum requirements.
Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position include:
Ms office applications, database technologies, and information reporting.
Software quality assurance techniques and processes.
Web-based technology solutions and supporting development tools.
Experience in quality management software and processes.
Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested.
Business process understanding.
Experience developing testing strategies.
Qa experience required.
Automated testing experience preferred but not required.
