The primary role will be ensuring coverage of a conversational ai application/suite within the azure environmentThis software set will provide interfaces and will work with other products in the omnisys suite; therefore some knowledge of these other product areas is required at least at a high-level functionalityIn this capacity, you would be responsible to work with the development organization to collaboratively bring forward resilient and robust products for our clientsRole and responsibilities
Define the qa strategy, tooling and frameworks while potentially working with other qa resources throughout the sdlc process as it impacts your assigned product.
Become the testing consultant on your assigned product.
Seek out new technologies and the smartest ways to solve the problems of omnisys and our customers.
Define the methods and metrics for test effectiveness to achieve higher product quality.
Oversee the test frameworks that are used across your productsSupport designing reusable business-level tests.
Contribute to the creation and execution of plans, effectively managing risks and issues during the course of product release delivery.
Desired education & experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
5-8 years of software qa experience
Experience in the azure environment, understanding how to navigate, operate and leverage tools within that environment
Experience with some level of “conversational ai” (e.gChatbots, google and alexa skills, ivr call trees)
Experience of implementing and promoting test automation best practice
Ability to analyze qa processes and drive improvements
Minimum 3 years practical experience with designing test automation frameworks
Knowledge of devops practices and applying them in the delivery process, highly desired
Hands on experience on similar role in the past
Working and collaborating on technical level with multiple software engineering teams
Required soft skills
Advanced english (written and spoken) with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in time-critical situations
High level of initiative with ability to self-manage
