Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans based on documented requirements and designs
Lead and execute test processes within agile, and waterfall environments
Identify and document clear and concise software defects
Plan and perform exploratory testing
Perform test case execution
Perform data validation within an sql database(s)
Prepare and present findings, reports, and metrics
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Collaborate with business analysts, software developers, project managers, and user experience designers to ensure consistent project execution
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of combined technical experience in software test design and execution, functional test automation development and execution, performance testing, automation development, and execution, and/or software application development
Demonstrated analytical skills using various tools and data sources
Demonstrated efficiency working on cross-functional teams of 8 or more team members including project manager, business system analysts, application developers, and system administrators
Demonstrated ability to apply standardized software quality processes
Familiar with various testing methods and strategies
Familiar with software development life cycle (sdlc) processes
Knowledge of microsoft team foundation server (tfs), source control, microsoft c# .net development language, microsoft sql database server (mssql), and selenium automated functional testing would be beneficial
Knowledge of accessibility testing, security testing, automation testing, performance testing, and end to end connected products testing would be beneficial.
Goal-oriented and able to drive coordination and delivery of software quality by working within established project schedules and release cycles
Excellent verbal and written skills focused on communication and documentation, in order to provide feedback to team members that improves technical and testing designs and solutions
Self-motivated and customer-focused with an understanding of highly available, demanding solutions
