As a senior frontend engineer at opengov you`ll build best-in-class saas solutions that enable efficiency, transparency, and accountability within government agenciesYou`ll be a key member of our engineering team, delivering new features and improvements in a fast-paced, agile environment using modern technologies, including ember, react, reactnative, typescript, babel etc.
A typical day in this role would provide opportunities to optimize applications for speed and scalability and resolve a variety of unique technical challengesStrong collaboration skills with product, ux, and back-end engineers, along with the ability to execute quickly will enable your success.

What you’ll do*
*
Write robust, highly tested, well-crafted code that you can be proud of
*
Develop new ui features and improve existing code
*
Write unit and integration tests to improve and maintain high code coverage
*
Work with local and remote engineers on a regionally distributed team
*
Ship and maintain your team’s applications
*
Your qualifications: *
*
5+ years professional experience in front end engineering roles
*
5+ years professional experience with javascript
*
3+ years professional experience using git or another popular cvs
3+ years professional experience with react and redux, ember, typescript, ecmascript
*
Experience integrating the ui with data from service endpoints
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills in english
*
Understanding of functional programming fundamentals
*
Experience doing and submitting to code reviews
*
Experience working cross-functionally, collaborating with designers and coordinating and product/program managers
*
Nice-to-have: *
*
Exposure to mobile development with reactnative
*
Understanding of aws fundamentals.
*
Real world experience building scalable saas products
*
You’re very interested in learning new languages, platforms, and ideas.
*
You thrive in a fast paced environment focused on delivering production code at a regular cadence using agile techniques, tools, and methodologies.
