Oci & cloud platform internal communication is the internal communications service team that produces original written and visual content, branding, and consulting via multiple channels including live virtual events, emails, videos, in the know/myoracle stories, multiple newsletters, infographics, oracle mysites, slack posts, blogs stories and other mediums.
We provide dedicated services for oci & cloud platform (hr, product marketing, idc)We support an 11,000+ person organizationOur focus is on increasing employee engagement and reinforcing the oci culture through professionally written, relevant, timely, multi-channel employee-focused communicationIn addition to communicating within oci, we are responsible for promoting and increasing the adoption of it products and services to all oracle employees.
Oci & cloud platform internal communications is searching for a communications director (m4) to provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of a communication strategy as well as lead a team of seasoned professional communicators.
Responsibilities:
Create and drive the employee communication strategy to engage and advise readers
Collaborate with leadership team members and their teams to develop and implement a multi-channel, multimedia, communications strategies, and programs
Drive awareness to various programs, initiatives, and events designed to inform and inspire readers
Partner with colleagues in communications, marketing, and business development to ensure aligned messaging and complementary strategic and tactical execution
Be a confidant and coach and mentor for your team members
Facilitate two-way communications and feedback sharing between executive leaders and employees
Engage leadership and teams throughout the organization and share stories that will help build a culture of success
Qualifications:
5+ years experience leading communications teams in the production of content for all media – written, video, web – and is agile to help build a highly functioning communications team in a fast-paced, transformative environment.
10+ years of hands-on communication experience working for an enterprise software company
Working knowledge of new media and web/digital-based technologies
P ossesses excellent written and verbal communications skills with an ability to simplify concepts and to tailor messaging for specific audiences – written samples required
E xperience developing enterprise-level communication strategies, plans, messaging, etc.
Know how to get things done, overcomes obstacles, and quickly shift priorities to mitigate day-to-day communications issues in a fast-paced environment
Communication with it component:
It services - mobile devices, laptops, etc.
Video production and design experience (e.g., zoom training, employee engagement, all hands) collaboration tools: email, ms office, slack, zoom, etc.
Internal website (e.g., myoracle, in the know, etc.)
Executive and organization communication experience
Experience with face-to-face events (e.g., all hands, leadership sessions)
Self-starter with the skill to work both independently and as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing
