Position summary:
Summary:
At pra group, software engineers will design and develop customized solutions applying software engineering principles to support business needsWe are an industry leader, and these positions are for driven professionals who are willing to work in an agile software development environment.
Our positions support expanding the scope of our proprietary products, as well as upgrades of existing applications currently developed predominantly using microsoft productsSoftware engineers with pra group will have the opportunity to foster relationships in high-performing teams, advance their skills and adapt to changes while working together with product owners, scrum masters, and other software engineers on the team.
Basic qualifications:
Degree in it or related field preferred or the equivalent amount of related experience required
Demonstrated (minimum 5+ year) experience developing software using .net framework, .net core framework, c#, rest api development, microsoft sql
Experience in agile and other standard sdlc processes
Self-starter, ambitious, and takes individual responsibility/pride/ownership of work and projects
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Degree in computer science or related field or the equivalent amount of related experience
Demonstrated (minimum 7+ year) experience developing software using .net framework, .net core framework, c#, rest api development, microsoft sql
Key responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and support applications using .net c# that interact with microsoft sql server databases
Configure and deploy applications
Collaborate on system design sessions and code reviews
Participate in full development lifecycle from requirements gathering, estimating, design, development, and implementation
Perform all levels of testing and validation, troubleshooting, code review and standard data validation practices prior and post-production release
Support the documentation of developed software applications
