What you`ll do:
The web developer coordinates and implements day to day content updates, user interface maintenance and/or enhancements to a portfolio of digital products including websites and/or mobile applicationsResponsible for consistency with site vision and style guide while developing and understanding of strategies to help keep content fresh and dynamic.
Through strong partnership, communication, and planning with key stakeholders both within the department/division and outside the department/division, this position facilitates, prioritizes, and implements requests for updates/changes to the digital applicationsThis includes daily tracking of content update submissions, clarifying requests, performing updates via a content management system, and testing/verifying changes that are not cms supported and must be manually changed by the technical team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate content maintenance/enhancement requests for marketing and owner websites and mobile applicationsTraffic items in the queue and oversee the process including coordination with it developers and business stakeholders(35%)
Create, update and maintain web content in content management system, monitor (qc) content on live site and troubleshoot or escalate problems(20%)
Assist business content contributors, as required, with effectively utilizing the content management system(10 %)
Represent digital production team in business project planning process to ensure applicable impacts are considered and accounted for(10 %)
Perform user acceptance testing on updates and enhancements with primary focus on user flows, interface, content and cross-browser compatibility(10%)
Gather research information /data to support usability initiatives (5%)
Share and drive best practice adherence(10%)
What we`re looking for:
Bachelors degree or work experience equivalent
Three-five years experience facilitating and implementing digital content updates through coding
Basic knowledge of html
Familiar with web usability, web analytics, web testing, cross browser compatibility as well as responsive design
Experience as a business user of a content management system
Technical skills to include: html, css, jquery, xml, javascript, advanced microsoft office including word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, basic working knowledge of adobe products, proficiency with photoshop and/or illustrator experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Possesses good written and oral communication skills
Highly detail oriented and organized
Able to prioritize work based on knowledge of technical dependencies
Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task
