As a quality assurance you will:
Oversee the hiring, onboarding and training of the quality assurance staff.
Own the performance management process for the qa staff, including quarterly goal setting and annual performance appraisals.
Manage the workflow and resource allocation of the qa department.
Mentor qa team members on quality assurance best practices, methodologies and frameworks.
Develop and implement quality metrics and reports with insight into the status and health of our products, including the logging or tracking of both manual and automated efforts.
Implement a process for product cross-training to improve team flexibility and extensibility.
Collaborate with product owners to develop an understanding of user stories and use-cases to optimize test approaches/plans and effectively analyze outcomes.
Review and collect feedback on qa effectiveness from internal stakeholders, including product owner(s), to allow the team to collectively assess use case and edge case coverage.
Develop and lead implementation of strategies on how best to automate tests for maximum efficiency and coverage.
Experience & skills:
4-5 years professional experience preferred
At least 1 year experience leading qa/qe teams.
Strong leadership skills with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
Experience developing formal test plans using tools such as testrail
Experience working with automated testing platforms (selenium or similar)
