Pear is seeking an experienced and senior mobile engineer to support and accelerate our success with our development team.
Position: senior mobile engineer
Responsibilities:
Development of new features in pear sports mobile apps (android)
Comfortable with fast paced development in a culture that thrives on creativity
Work closely with designers to ensure the designed interfaces are implemented correctly
Ensure pear complies with best practices for user interface development, including accessibility and localization
Fix bugs, work with qa team, maintain code for long term stability
Give feedback to team on usability and feasibility of design
Use the teams predefined coding standards and practices
Requirements:
5+ years android development (java, kotlin)
Strong experience working with jetpack compose
Experience with jetpack architecture components (navigation, room, etc)
Good knowledge of github for version control
Good verbal and written communication skill
Qualifications:
· knowledge of mobile apps ui best practices
· experience with ui layouts on multiple devises
· ability to enjoy an office that is walking distance to ocean
· ability to enjoy open, artistic office space
· ability to enjoy top of the line work out equipment provided by the company
