Responsibilities
The candidate will develop system architecture, system requirements, and conops for wireless systemsThe candidate will also manage system qualification, verification, and validation as well as perform functional / physical analysis, testing, prototyping, and trade studiesThe candidate will perform these functions using a variety of methods and enabling technologies including model-based systems engineering (mbse), agile product development, and devsecopsThis position presents a great opportunity for candidates that are looking to work on challenging, cutting-edge technology across diverse areas.
Develop, integrate, and maintain models using model-based systems engineering techniques for complex systems to aid in identifying and fulfilling system requirements and needs
Interpret and analyze customer documents and needs, define system-level architecture, and allocate subsystem requirements
Provide mission analysis to support definition of technical requirements and interfaces, provide analysis of alternatives, guide development, and evaluate expected performance against requirements and mission needs
Identify technical risks and develop risk management strategies in accordance with scheduled milestones
Prepare technical documentation and presentations for both internal review and customer review
Integrate software and perform verification and validation
Qualifications
Requires 5 to 8 years with bs/ba or 3 to 5 years with ms/ma or 0 to 2 years with phd.
Prefers a bs/ba, ms/ma, ph.dOr equivalent experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering
This position requires verification of us citizenship
Experience with mbse and other tools to support model development, analysis, visualization, and documentation
Experience with systems modeling language (sysml) and mbse engineering tools (e.gCameo, innoslate)
Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include concepts of operations, interface control documents, and verification and test
Ability to provide technical and programmatic direction on the development, integration, and use of model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering models
Experience with agile development and devsecops principles
Experience with wireless systems and networking, dynamic spectrum management (dsm), and dynamic spectrum access (dsa) is a plus
Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills
Understanding of modern software and hardware design techniques and practices.
Proven organizational skills with ability to prioritize against multiple deadlines and manage projects at various stages of maturity

Colorado salary maximum: $148,928.00
