Research associate
Summary:
This position will support the global medical and scientific lyme disease vaccine team by developing and organizing the scientific knowledge base through data analysis and interpretation, application of the epidemiology literature, and interaction with internal and external experts
Responsibilities:
Analyze us and eu surveillance data
Review local epidemiology data to quantify burden of disease
Systematically organize global epidemiology data in a centralized hub
Support ongoing epidemiology burden of disease studies
Conduct feasibility for research studies
Organize and develop presentations on data collected
Writing papers, manuscripts, analysis of papers
Qualifications:
Master of public health or master of science in epidemiology
Must have completed graduate training in epidemiology
Minimum 2+ years of related experience
Understanding of statistics and programming to conduct analyses
Must be able to interpret and synthesize the literature and develop strategies to quantify the burden of disease
Must have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding how to present and convey complex information visually through slides is a plus
Ability to work independently
