Job responsibilities include:
Deal sourcing- calling property owners and brokers to procure market and off market opportunities for purchaseSourcing deals from property owners and brokers (preferably off-market) with a primary focus on growing our value-add multi-family and mobile home park portfolios and secondary focus on select opportunistic commercial investments in retail, office, industrial and mixed-use; building and up-keeping strong relationships in the north & south carolina market, keeping track of leads and maintaining deal pipelines.
· negotiation: actively participate in all aspects of the deal process and negotiations.
· financial analysis- screening of all potential acquisitions, make recommendations regarding issues and findings, coordinate due diligence with philips’ team.
· market research- collect and study data to identify trends in the market, track market comparables for potential acquisitions.
Work with attorneys and other third parties.
Work with internal acquisition team through acquisition closing.
Qualifications:
· must have at least 5 years in commercial real estate with prior knowledge in brokerage or investment salesMust be highly motivated and exhibit strong passion towards real estate.
· technology savvy with latest on-line canvassing and research tools
· extremely proactive, detail-oriented and motivated.
· entrepreneurial, ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment while being given a lot of autonomy
· excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
