In this role, you have the opportunity to
Represent and champion customer support needs in the development of new products and interim product releases as well as service toolsWorks closely with cross-functional organizations (i.e.: r&d, manufacturing and marketing, etc.) influencing design and manufacture for supportability.
You are responsible for
Support planning, training development and delivery of service implementation solutions for hospital respiratory care products.
Maximize customer satisfaction through product reliability and performance data monitoringDrives continuous improvement of products, service and support strategies.
Providing ‘level 3’ technical escalation support to the global field service organization by diagnosing, troubleshooting and directing repair advice for ventilation products.
Developing and delivering timely service communications related to product lifecycle management and solutions.
Establishing and improving product ‘design for serviceability’ requirements within new and sustaining product development teams.
Developing and delivering high quality cost effective service training programs for all assigned products.
Developing and distributing customer service product plans for new products and sustaining
You are a part of
You will report to the senior manager of product support engineering within philips hospital respiratory care (hrc) business unit in carlsbad, ca.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Technical degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of technical / product support experience, preferably in medical device industry
2+ years of experience in customer service
Experience with new product development and life cycle management preferred
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to assess and initiate corrective actions is desired
Ability to learn, understand and convey complex product knowledge concepts and solutions
Comfortable and able to thrive in a matrixed organization
Strong cross functional work experience preferred
