Store associate
Job tasks will consist of:
Receive & manage sales inquiries: phone calls, email, text, and walk-ins.
Arrange sales appointments, answer questions, conduct showings (piano musicianship helpful but not required).
Greet customers, qualify, connect, find objections, and close.
Some admin tasks include writing up a sale, taking payments, and review follow ups, etc.
Keep showroom clean & impressive with pictures, deco, piano lids open, benches pushed in, dust & wipe down piano when needed, impressions will help you sell to higher-end clientele.

Expect to be on location 1-2 saturdays a month and one day during the weekTentative/example on-site schedule: tues 2 - 7, fri 12 - 4, sat 10 - 4.
Other tasks tbd.
Participate in events when available.

Work experience: you are an experienced sales person (not required), perhaps semi-retired or self-employed, looking for the right work environmentThis is a base or commission opportunity that offers very flexible hours, and the pay will be good if you can help build up the businessWe can help train you on our product and specific experiences with our clientele.
Skills:
Proven work experience as a retail sales representative, sales associate or similar role
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Basic math and computer skills
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with active listening and objection handling.
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work various shifts
High school degree
Bsc in marketing or related field is a plus
