Pingwind is looking for a talented devsecops configuration manager to support our paas project to deliver cloud-based solutions for our customers.
For this position the configuration manager will be part of a sophisticated technical team responsible for delivering a flexible, scalable, cloud-ready, fault-tolerant, modernized systemYour mission is to architect and implement a devsecops solution, including end-to-end fully automated ci/cd pipelineThe configuration manager must have experience in configuration management in a modern devsecops environmentThey will ensure that all proposed and actual changes to technology and documentation are properly identified, approved, and tracked.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated hands-on, expert level success in performing software configuration management for large, complex systems, including managing multiple concurrent and parallel development effortsExpertise includes working with source code and documents, branching/merging, versioning, builds, authoritative source identification, baselines, traceability, repository management, and validation/verification/audits of all typesAnd developing materials to assist others in performing technical work.
Demonstrated success supporting full systems lifecycles, including inception and/or requirements/stories, traceability methods, and functional and physical auditing, as well as developing/documenting change management and other processes to develop learning resources.
Full-lifecycle configuration management, from product/software configuration item inception through end of lifeExpertise integrating cm with lifecycle, development, and automation processesExperience includes implementing configuration and automation management tools, processes, and devsecops/ci-cd methodsExpertise with systems development lifecycles (sdlc), devsecops practices, ci-cd frameworks, automation testing, and agile/scrum methodologies.
Systems analysis expertise that includes analyzing, documenting, diagraming, and presenting detailed technical and business information.
Expertise presenting information for analyses, training, documentation, presentations, and reportsExpertise in cm functional, technical, and operational analysis and managementDocumented success in developing cm processes, architecture diagramming, solutions delivery, and repository management, as well as testing automation and ci/cd processes implementations.
Expertise in supporting organizational program definition, documenting/training for programs, delivering services to technical and business customers, training delivery, providing ad-hoc cm assistance, and coaching/mentoring product lines, project teams, and experienced project configuration managers.
Expertise using and implementing product management and configuration/lifecycle tools, such as jira, git/github, jenkins, selenium, servicenow, and a wide variety of open source, ci/cd and repository tools.
Expertise socializing frameworks and practicesExpertise using azure devops to develop and manage dashboards and reportingKnowledge of ci-cd, automation, and cloud concepts, as well as tools and cloud services to support themExpertise in aggregating data, implementing dashboards, and communications applications.
Ability to create both the big picture and details for organizational program analysis, estimate and/or participate in estimating, and strategize implementation alternatives for large systems programs and operations.
Requirements
Bachelor`s degree and 8 years’ experience required5 years of additional relevant experience required in lieu of degree.
Expertise with open-source technologies and cloud services, such as amazon web services (aws) and microsoft azure.
Experience with the software development lifecycle (sdlc) and agile methodologies, such as scaled agile framework (safe) and scrum/kanban/xp.
Strong experience agile principles such as continuous integration (ci), test-driven development (tdd), continuous delivery (cd) and devsecops
Preferred qualifications and certifications
Currently hold any of the 5 of the “core” aws certifications such as solutions architect - associate, solutions architect - developer, sysops administrator - associate, solutions architect - professional, and devops engineer - professional
Currently hold various microsoft certifications (microsoft certified: azure devops engineer expert, and microsoft certified: azure solutions architect expert etc.)
Currently hold agile certification(s) such as certified scrum master (csm), certified scrum professional (csp), safe agilists (sa) or safe practitioner(sp), safe advanced scrum masters (sasm), and safe professional consultants (spc)
Experience supporting federal clients
Experience supporting department of veterans affairs
