Zachary piper solutions is looking for a 100% remote- network engineer for a large government integrator slated to win a government contract at the end of the calendar year! the network engineer will be responsible for managing and implementing network systems within the client’s network infrastructure!
Responsibilities of the network engineer include:
Providing technical guidance for monitoring information systems operations.
Managing the support of network communication, including lan/wan/man systems.
Performing system-level configuration of specific products such as hardware and os.
Compiling reports pertaining to network operations and maintenance.
Troubleshooting network performance issues.
Qualifications of the network engineer include:
Well-versed in networking protocols (tcp/ip, stp, routing, sip, mpls)
In-depth experience diagnosing network issues as well as utilizing networking tools.
Experience configuring solutions such as implementing firewalls and routers.
Hands on implementation of dns, bind, ms dns, and powerdns.
