Zachary piper solutions is currently looking for a 100% remote- system administrator for a large government integrator slated to win a government contract at the end of the calendar year! the system administrator will be responsible for the maintenance of network security policies and procedures!
Responsibilities of the system administrator include:
Participating in analysis administration of voice video and data communication networks.
Interfacing with vendors to diagnose network outages as well as periods of reduced performance.
Evaluating hardware and software, including peripheral and output related equipment.
Troubleshooting moderately complex problems.
Qualifications of the system administrator include:
Well-versed in managing windows/linux based operating systems.
Strong grasp of network storage configuration and management (san, nas, and nfs).
Experience with scripting languages for task automation (bash, perl, and python).
Knowledge in managing systems in a public cloud environment- aws, azure, and gcp.
