We are seeking a german speaking video/audio editor and recording technician to join our teamThe main duties are centered around editing chess video courses and remotely assisting our authors to record videos that meet our quality requirementsYou will be in close contact with our authors/presenters and run continuous quality control of the videos that they produce.
Responsibilities
Editing chess video courses
Performing quality control of video course material
Communicating our video recording guidelines to presenters
Assisting presenters in procuring and configuring necessary upgrades to their hardware and software
Analyzing test-recordings against our video and audio requirements
Continuously monitoring the video material that our presenters are delivering to ensure that it meet our requirements for the full duration of the course creation process
Requirements
Experienced chess player (1400+) and chess enthusiast
Good understanding of chess notation
Native or fluent german speaker
Excellent written and spoken communication in english is mandatoryKnowledge of spanish and any other languages is a plus.
Strong audio-visual skills in the adobe suite (premiere, illustrator, photoshop, audition)
Strong professional experience working with video and audio
Strong skills solving exposure issues
Strong skills solving audio issues
Strong skills in obs studio, preferably with an ability to analyse log files from obs studio and determine how to solve bespoke recording issues
Enjoy working in a team environment
A problem solving and growth mindset
Having a chessable account and using it on a regular basis is a plus
