Cpa firm seeks a career minded audit candidate with 3+ years recent public accounting experience who is looking for the opportunity to work in a remote/in office, collaborative team environmentThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and a high integrity level.
Polk and associates provides attest, accounting, tax and consulting services to clients primarily in the real estate, healthcare, and manufacturingConsulting services provided include business valuations, forecasts/projections, succession planning and strategic planning among others.
We are seeking a talented staff auditor to join our teamThis individual will have the ability to work on a variety of clients across industries and will be responsible for:
Running client engagements involving financial statement preparation, planning of the engagement and related administrative functions
Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues utilizing electronic databases and use audit software to review and compile financial information.
Pro-actively interact with client management to gather information, resolve audit problems and make recommendations for process improvement.
Requirements:
Must have minimum 3 years relevant audit experience in public accounting or industry
Strong verbal and written communications a mustCandidate should have the ability to interact with clients, all levels of staff and colleagues in a professional manner
Ability to self-direct and manage multiple deadlinesAble to multi-task as planning executing and wrapping up various engagements may require to be performed concurrently
Career oriented
Willingness to travel to client locations in southeast michigan
Familiarity with advanceflow software a plus.
Experience in real estate is a plus.
