Part time quality control manager
Prager metis cpas, llc seeks a part time quality control manager.

Essential functions include, but not limited to the following:
Perform engagement quality (eqr) on various audit engagements as required by firm requirements
Perform independent review of financial statements including looking at key workpapers
Provide research on various accounting and auditing topics
Assist in developing training and research materials on various accounting and auditing topics for presentation to attest staff
Industries the company performs attest services include:
Manufacturing & wholesale
Entertainment
Government auditing, including single audit
Financial services, including broker dealers
Cira
Nonprofit
Employee benefit plans
International financial reporting standards (ifrs)
Real estate
Construction
Banking
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or comparable subject.
Cpa license required.
Minimum 5 years of experience of public accounting, financial statement audits & saars engagements.
A thorough understanding gaap, gaas, ssar’s, ssae’s and statutory accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to meet deadlines and work on time sensitive engagements.
Knowledge of sec and pcaob auditing standards a plus.
Develop a network of potential referral sources and identify opportunities to sell additional prager metis services.
Demonstrated ability to function at a high level in a deadline driven, time-sensitive environment.
