Trust & estates paralegal
Presidio llp, a pasadena, california based law firm, is seeking an experienced trusts & estates paralegalOur practice, established over 50 years ago, advises high net worth families, closely held businesses and charities on tax, estate planning and business succession mattersThis is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, highly respected practice with stimulating assignments using state of the art technology.

Responsibilities:
Document drafting, editing and proof-reading
Assist executor/trustee with the collection, valuation and distribution of assets
Assist in funding of trusts, including preparation of deeds and assignments
Perform legal research, prepare client memos and correspondence
Possess working knowledge of microsoft word, excel and hotdocs
Prepare court pleadings to open and close probate estates
Possess knowledge of california probate & trust law and procedure
Data base management of all relevant documents
Provide support to attorneys through all phases of estate planning and trust/estate administration
Experience:
Four year college degree and paralegal certificate with a minimum of four years of relevant work experience
Possess a working knowledge of microsoft word, excel & hot docs
Knowledge of california probate and trust law and procedure required
