Full job description
5+ years’ experience in the telecom industry with expertise in fd-mimo/aas/massive mimo in a deployment grade product
Bachelor of science in a related field; m.s./ph.dPreferred
Understanding of 3gpp l1 and l2 specifications (38.21x, 38.321, 38.201, 38.300) and translate its implication to l1 software design as well as optimizations required for deployment grade product
Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in massive mimo beamforming/mrc/mrt and additionally one or more of the following physical layer algorithms for mimo-ofdm: channel estimation, equalization, channel decoding and/or interference cancellation
Hands-on experience in design and development of state-of-art algorithms, fixed point design and error analysis
Creating test benches/test vectors for validation of l1 experience preferred
Experience in system level and link level simulations in matlab/c, understanding of antenna design and architecture, rf fundamentals, rf components and rf chain
Ability to integrate various phy components and blocks to the overall phy chain and integration of o-du and o-ru using o-ran defined interfaces
Comfortable in using signal analyzer, signal generator, radio channel propagation emulator and multi-ue emulators
Knowledge of sw development tool chains job functions
Enhance kpi (throughput, spectral efficiency, latency, robustness, minGuaranteed qos) of l1 software (sw) product
Propose and model new algorithms, enhance existing algorithms and guide development team to implement enhancements (individual contributor roles too are available)
Debug highly complex (sw and hw) issues in oru-odu deployment during the development/lab/field testing and improve the system performance
Provide inputs for mac scheduler, rrm dimensioning, ru design to obtain optimal performance
