Primepay currently has an opening for a human resourced generalist to do managed services with our client based in sioux falls, sdThis is a remote position, but the ideal candidate will be accessible to the client during business hours in the central time zoneWe are looking for an individual who has extensive knowledge related to employment law, employee development and relations, and safety practicesThe individual must have a genuine interest to assist employees, as well as be able to perform difficult staffing duties, such as resolving disputes, administering disciplinary proceduresHaving the ability to be flexible in quickly moving from one project to another is imperative.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Respond to all employment verifications for employees
Assist in mainlining handbooks and legal compliance within the organization
Support employees and managers in getting enrolled and learning management platform
Assist managers with creating and submitting incident reports
Assist managers with creating performance reviews
Lead independent investigations on employee issues
Monthly benefit invoice reconciliation
Support employees through the onboarding and open enrollment process for benefits
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in hr or business administration
5 years’ experience working in a hr generalist role
Experience dealing with employee injuries and workers’ compensation
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and prepare presentations
Knowledge of hris or hcm platforms
Strong ability to maintain confidential information required
Able to display compassion but also separate emotions from making tough decisions
Capable of translating hr concepts to individuals at all levels
