At your request room service choice agent:
The job responsibilities of the ayr room service choice agent is to provide exceptional customer service to the patient during the preparation of the meal serviceThis individual will assist patients with menu selection, by utilizing exceptional communication and computer skills.
Will be trained to understand therapeutic diets as prescribed by medical professionals.
Individual must be well organized and have the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to work independently from their home office and complete assignments in a timely manner and/or as asked by manager or supervisor on duty.
Hours may varyWeekends and holidays are on rotation.
Basic purpose:
Answers calls from patients, family and staff for all patient meals.
Responsible to maintain patients` diet restrictions as prescribed by md and assist patient through process.
Maintains area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
Observes all safety procedures.
Requires attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal directions and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Some knowledge of weights and measurements.
Requires the ability to make change and keep records accurately.
Ability to move about the hospital and between workstations.
Ability to communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to tolerate exposure to temperature changes, humid/hot conditions and unpleasant odors.
Occasionally move heavy carts and frequently lift light to medium weight equipment and supplies.
Ability to maintain a productive work pace.
Must be within 100 miles of headquarters
