Full job description
Exciting opportunity to join a growing, global life sciences organization as a lead recruiter to drive talent acquisition strategy and make an impact through sourcing and filling key positions.
This position can be based remotely outside the san diego area.
We are a leading contract research organization (cro) and this position will be part of a new and growing human resource team.
Key responsibilities include:
Source, screen and hire candidates using a variety of methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practicesBring your best ideas to the organization to enable us to scale and grow.
Thought partner to the vp of hr to develop tailored recruiting strategies.
Intellectually curious about talent acquisition trends in the biopharma and cro industries.
Develop relationships with key external recruiting partners.
Develop and manage a new onboarding experience.
Ensure all screening, hiring and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in the cro/life sciences industry.
Strong knowledge of linkedin recruiter and talent insights, adp recruitment system as well as other sourcing technology and tools.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Good judgment and comfortable making decisions.
Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
