Job status: full time (40 hours per week) schedule on a contract
Position summary:
Our client is looking for a qa lead in softwareThis person will be responsible for developing and owning the qa approach for a custom software application in a regulated healthcare environmentThis includes authoring, reviewing and executing test plans, test scripts, and validation documents for healthcare applications and their integrated systemsFinal test execution must be performed in a clinical setting, live and in-person with all system users: administrators, clinicians, and patients.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Ability to develop a qa strategy for custom software, including the development of test plans, test scripts, and test results.
Qa execution live and in-person in a clinical setting with live patients, clinicians and administrators leading each role through the test cases.
Become subject matter expert in custom application for on-site troubleshooting and issue handling.
Ability to conceptualize and document user experience workflows to aid in qa strategy.
Attention to detail is a must for test case organization and live results capture.
Documentation ownership as opposed to delegationThis is a hands on role.
Solving complex problems with cross-functional business partners both internally and externally.
Train and facilitate doctors/nurses through the system.
Please note the client is requesting the analyst to be vaccinatedThe job requires two visits to health clinics where vaccination is required.
Minimum skills, knowledge, and ability requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Travel when needed to clinics
Skills to convey technical aspects to a non-technical audience
Excellent communication and written skills
Nice to have: experience working on software implementation projects in a pharmaceutical, medical, or fda-regulated environment.
Nice to have: regulatory verification and validation experience for custom software
