Job title: workday project tester

Job status: 6-month contract
Position summary:
Our client is looking for an experienced workday tester who can design and lead testing on multiple workday modulesThe person should be comfortable being a hands-on tester in addition to designing the test approach.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Create testing strategy document
Documents test cases.
Execute test cases to determine if assigned scenarios pass or fail.
Stage data to upload/ populate templates.
Administers projects metrics and communicates the progress of the metrics throughout the life of the project.
Provides a detailed description of scenarios that failed
Help developers/configuration managers with break/fix
Minimum skills, knowledge, and ability requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Strong written and verbal communications.
5+ years of workday testing experience preferred.
Knowledge of test automation preferred.
Strong knowledge of test management tools such as alm, jira
Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
