Job summary
As the senior production control analyst you will be a recognized specialist who oversees the production processing system and provides 24/7 technical support to customer’s production processing, including but not limited to troubleshooting problems, reloading and modifying files, developing scripts and testing, restoring files and data, creating job schedules and analyzing job failuresYou will plan and implement the production schedules for assigned systemsAdditionally, you will communicate with users regarding data and job requirements and enforce established procedures for protecting data, data encryption and data security during production-processing and data transfersYou will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining internal production processing documentation and proceduresFinally, you will train, delegate, and review the work of lower level team members.
This position is 100% remote.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in it or related field
Four (4) years’ experience in a computer related field
In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated skills troubleshooting it problems, reloading and modifying files, developing scripts, restoring files and data, creating job schedules and analyzing job failures
Ability to multi-task on a variety of it activities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Self-starting, independent thinker and worker
Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
Ability to plan and coordinate production schedules
Working knowledge of basic codes for unix
Experience with multiple systems, environments and applications (unix, linux, microsoft windows and mainframe)
Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision
Preferred:
Problem solving and resolution skills
