Hr generalist - demand science human resource professionals will thrive in a fast-paced environmentWe have a fast-paced, challenging environment, enriched with opportunities for engagement and growth for someone who is prepared to take on this roleIn fact, this position will fill the shoes of our former generalist, who will train the hr generalist as the incumbent as they have been promotedThis insight should provide good information as a candidate.
In this role, the hr generalist will serve as a contact for employees, responding to inquiries and a wide range of questions regarding human resource policies and proceduresThe hr generalist will undertake a variety of human resources tasks and projects when accepting this roleThese include onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, document creation, compliance, and a variety of employee engagement activitiesAs more may be added, we are seeking a go-getter who wants to learn and grow as a generalist and take what demand science and our professional leadership has to offer as we also expand our talent and add to the organization.
Essential job functions - “what you’ll do:`
Establish and maintain relationships with employees to stay abreast of hr-related needs.
Maintain basic knowledge of hr policies, procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
Responsible for the new hire onboarding experience which includes hris process, employee orientation, and employee hr-related inquiries.
Process and maintain offboarding materials and conduct exit interviews.
Develop and execute positive employee relations initiatives, coordinate chat sessions & pulse surveys, organize leadership meet & greets, and become the sme for our global rewards & recognition platform.
Maintain employee records and hr reporting w/in the hris.
Respond to audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
Organize and manage our employee engagement committees.
Promote hr programs to enhance job satisfaction and an efficient workplace.
Assist the hr department with various special projects.
Essential qualifications - “what you’ll need:`
General understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
Comfort with ambiguity - proactive and assertive nature required.
Dedication to upholding process with a team player attitude.
Impeccable follow up and follow-through, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to interface w/ all levels of the organization.
Proven time management and scheduling skills and the ability to successfully meet deadlines in an environment with competing demands.
A track record of demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
Self-motivated and has aptitude in problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and quickly changing priorities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
