What you will be accountable for:
The proprietary products systems and business process manager will work in collaboration with key stakeholders to evaluate and process map existing processes and to design, development and implement new business processes and systems to achieve organizational goalsIn this role you will work collaboratively across the proprietary development teams of r&d, engineering, industrial design, product management, project management and brand management to improve the effectiveness of our processes and toolsYou will manage information systems and provide architectural and technical inputs to the project(s)You are a thought leader who has intimate knowledge of product development practices, organizational interconnectedness and work in an atmosphere of openness, trust and collaboration.

O in collaboration with key stakeholders, facilitate and lead a team of cross functional experts in the assessment of current core product development processes for opportunities of greater efficiencies including qot process, product records, supplier sharing and as directed.
O set the vision for needed enhancements/improvements of our systems to support business process needs.
O create and implement a roadmap to identify systems process improvement opportunities and technology enhancement needs.
O establish business cases inclusive of time projections, potential savings and projection of investment requests; while taking into consideration the overall roi of the project.
O apply the six sigma methodology of dmaic or similar approach to problem solving when reviewing our current processes; define, measure, analyze, improve, and control.

O facilitate and lead cross functional teams in the review of existing processes or process needs and determine systems to support the needs of the business.
O partner to drive process excellence - working alongside leaders to drive execution, facilitating governance, and communication processes where necessary
O identify opportunities for improved processes to support current and future product development needs.
O as necessary, lead the creation, implementation, and training of new and improved company-wide product development systems.
O as necessary, train new employees on qbp’s product development process.
Tools * [20%]
O identify and recommend appropriate technology systems/systems updates to support current and long-term product development practices.
O as necessary, either create or recommend implementation of additional and replacement tools to support the function of all product development departments.
O as necessary, perform maintenance and support of existing tools and systems in support of all product development departments.
O lead training and education on the use of organization-wide product development tools for all product development departments.

What you need to succeed:
Required qualifications:
O bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering or related field
O understanding of product development processes from ideation through manufacturing-delivery, and the necessary roles of each position along this development pathway
O understanding of sap, sharepoint, project management tools and methodologies, pdm and overall data organization.
O ability to understand the complex task interactions between deliverables from all groups involved in product development (r&d, industrial design, engineering, project management, product management and brand management).
O experience across multiple business functions desired, particularly r&d, product management, industrial design and engineering
O ability to manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously
O knowledge of six sigma dmaic or similar to lead teams through problem solving
O strong project management skills with emphasis on achievable timeline development.
O excellent written and oral communication skills

O domestic and international travel
