Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated data governance leader with a deep passion for data, quality, and effective management of data as an asset in adherence to enterprise standards & policies.
As a senior data governance leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality, trust, accountability, and usability, through modifications to data management policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architectureYou will partner with business functions, data owners, stewards, custodians, it, security, compliance, and privacy to build, implement, evangelize, and maintain responsive and resilient data governance concepts.
You will support objectives to integrate agile principles into data practices and work to deliver agile-based module development along with cross-functional communication, requirements traceability, prioritization, and governance delivery.
Atleast 10 years relevant experience, bachelor`s degree in information systems or computer science or related fields of study.
Progressive years of building & operationalizing data governance practices in a large-scale and complex organizations.
Experience in implementing data governance standards in operational & analytical data environments.
Experience working with industry data governance products like collibra, apache atlas, alation
Experience working with big-data technologies - e.gHadoop,spark,datalakes/hubs,delta lakes,data wrehouses, cloud data platforms
Experience leading large-scale programs in any industry, ensuring initiatives are tracked, managed, and communicated effectively with stakeholders and customers.
Strong knowledge & implementation experience of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, industry best practices.
Strong knowledge of master data management, reference data management, data quality management, data integration.
Strong knowledge of microsoft office applications, including project, word, excel, visio, and powerpoint.
Experienced in working with agile methodologies (scrum, kanban) and cross-functional teams (product owners, bsa`s, multivendor, developers, designers, test engineers).
Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
Solid technical and analytical skills, ability to communicate across the organization and manage multiple releases/priorities.
