Quality assurance testing lead to create and execute automated tests for dxc technology’s managed file transfer midrange platformThis person must have good english communication skills to identify and communicate test scenarios and results, good technical skills to develop automated tests, and good analytical skills to investigate failuresThis person will work closely with software developers and lead a small team in product testing of new releases of the dxc managed file transfer product suiteThis includes regression testing as well as developing new tests for new features/functions as they are developed.
The required technical skills/tools are as follows:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in a technical role general pc tools (microsoft word, excel, & outlook) – to document and communicate detailed test resultsTextpad (and possibly beyond compare software) – for viewing, editing, and comparing input and output files dos – for creating and running batch scripts vb script (scripting language or similar java language) – for developing test code in uft software hpe unified functional testing (uft) software (previously called quick test professional) – for creating and running automated functional tests
The recommended skills are as follows:
Hpe advanced lifecycle management (alm) software (previously called quality center) – for storing and executing a series of automated tests file transfer protocol (ftp, ssh, sftp, as2, http/https, cloud) knowledge – for the file transfer transactions tested using mft applications electronic data interchange knowledge – for creating input files using standard edi formats ibm personal communications (telnet/tso) – for starting mainframe processes and comparing files from the mft mainframe system with the mft midrange system unix/linux - for interacting with server files and investigating issues
